About the orva Platform
orva is a telemedicine platform that connects patients with licensed Swiss physicians and a Swiss pharmacy. The platform enables patients to complete a medical questionnaire. The answers are transmitted 1:1 to the treating physician, without orva analyzing or deriving medical conclusions from this data.
All diagnostic and therapeutic decisions are made exclusively by licensed Swiss physicians. orva itself does not sell, prescribe, diagnose or manufacture any medications.
Treatment Process
Patients select a treatment from our offerings or use the Topical Builder for a customized formulation. They then complete a medical questionnaire that serves as a basis for the physician's assessment. Based on the information provided, the physician decides whether a treatment is suitable and issues a prescription if appropriate. The prescription is digitally transmitted to the partner pharmacy, which compounds the medication and ships it directly to the patient.
Before the first treatment, we verify the patient's identity through a secure identity verification process.
Telemedicine consultation is suitable for patients who do not have acute symptoms and do not require an in-person physical examination. If other conditions or contraindications are suspected, the physician will recommend an in-person consultation.
Personalized Formulations
With our Topical Builder, patients can create a customized topical solution. The final composition is reviewed by the treating physician and prescribed as a magistral formulation if medically appropriate. The selection of ingredients and concentrations is entirely the responsibility of the prescribing physician.
The Topical Builder is a selection tool without medical logic. It does not provide recommendations, perform calculations, or evaluate selections medically.
